Apex Software Unveiles Apex IV Version 3.3 for Assessors

At the Tenth Annual Integrating GIS & CAMA 2006 Conference, Apex Software (Apex) unveiled Apex IV Version 3.3 for assessors. Highlights of Version 3.3 include universal integration with CAMA providers, and shape file formatting options, two significant advantages to Apex users. Apex Software has been challenged by the lead time it takes CAMA developers to provide integration capabilities for their users. With Version 3.3's universal integration, this process is automatic. "We are sensitive to our customers' needs and have worked hard to eliminate external hurdles," said Randall H. Garrett, President and Owner of Apex Software. "Now all existing users of Apex can use version 3.3 and still maintain full integration with their CAMA providers." Furthermore, as GIS data becomes more integral to real estate assessment, shape files have become a necessity. Version 3.3 offers this file format as an additional option. However, shape files represent only the tip of the iceberg. Apex has focused its development efforts on field-force automation and GIS integration. Future versions of Apex will offer many capabilities addressing the special needs of these areas. "Between empowering mobility and integrating GIS, the real estate assessment industry is facing a very exciting future," said Robert Smoote, Apex Product Manager. "We are working hard at Apex to ensure that we continue to provide the tools to best support the industry needs." Source: OnlyPunJab.com , , , ,
