Local - Home Depot opens Friday - Normal, IL

The Home Depot opens in Normal, IL at 6 a.m. Friday, about a week ahead of schedule. The world’s largest home improvement chain bought 24 acres of land from Bridgestone/Firestone at Fort Jesse Road and Veterans Parkway to build the $8 million, 102,513-square-foot store and 28,086-square-foot garden center.
